Kevin Rathbun Steak (Atlanta, GA)

The ambiance at Kevin Rathbun Steak is dim, intimate, and romantic.

KRS has an extensive VINO list, ordered Chateau Rousset-Caillau a beautiful blend of Merlot and Cabernet Savignon from Bordeaux. It was a bit dry, but the perfect complement for the cheese bread the restaurant offers for free as a starter. The bread is salty, but not in a bad way. It's crispy and delicious.

Started with the lobster fritters and short rib to make our own "surf and turf." The lobster fritters were perfectly crispy in the outside and chewy in the outside.

The burger came with a thick smokey piece of bacon, and was absolutely delicious. Ordered a medium well, but would recommend getting a medium. Don't recommend the fries as they were a bit hard and not flavorful, but the burger merits many more visits to KRS!
