La Barbecue (Austin, TX)

Austin Texas the land of BBQ. At the top of this trip’s list was La Barbeque, a small shop, coffee shop, and BBQ joint. Arrived around 1 hour before they opened, honestly that was the best decision - I was 2nd in line and was able to order very quickly and actually sit down to enjoy my meal. I ordered the 1 lb brisket, 0.5 lb pork rib, sausage, shelly mac and cheese, potato salad, and cole slaw – everything was delicious. But if you can only get 1 thing definitely get the rib. The meat slid of the bone naturally and was full of flavor, juicy, and just delicious. Too much food for two, but we were happy to take some home with us.
